Jakes of Lakeland University - 529 Ontario Ave., Sheboygan
Join us as we celebrate 16 years of “Survive, Thrive & Be Fit” and our first “Gentle Yoga for Cancer Survivors” session with this FREE daylong yoga retreat for cancer patients/survivors!
What is a Yoga Retreat?
“A Yoga or Wellness Retreat is time spent caring for oneself in a mindful way. Instead of retreating away somewhere, you retreat inward and spend time with your true self. For a one day retreat, you will practice different forms of yoga, through physical exercise, breathwork, relaxation, and meditation. We have discussions on different topics to help immerse yourself further and prompt reflection and ideas you might take with you when you leave. A retreat can be helpful in setting aside the many hats you wear during the week, and tuning into your own needs, desires, and mental health. This retreat will be designed to help you feel refreshed, grounded, and perhaps inspired to bring new things into your routine in order to serve your best self.” - Kaitlynn Kiela, CYT
You will get the most out of this retreat by being here for the full day, but if you can only come to part of it, please let us know and we can accommodate you.
