“Be a Sunflower” Project: Spreading Positivity and Love While Raising Funds for SCCCF!

My mom (Mary) was diagnosed with stage 4 Kidney cancer on August 20th. A symbol that has continued to surround her through this journey has been the sunflower. A sunflower represents unwavering faith & unconditional love.

I (Gabrielle) decided to start a project that could raise money & spread positivity & love. We created the “Be a Sunflower Project - peace, prayers, and positivity”. After receiving an amazing response from friends & family who wanted a bracelet, we decided to get to work! We had bracelet making parties & spent hours getting orders prepared! We sold well over 300 bracelets! We designed both the “Be a Sunflower” & the “Lava Sunflower Bracelet”. We are thrilled we were able to make a large donation to the Sheboygan County Cancer Care Fund!
