Throughout the gathering's speaker segments, a mourning dove perched several times atop the peak of the Conservatory. It kept looking down on those speaking, as if keeping watch. A spirit may have been dropping by to say, "Hi!"

Discovery from a "Mindful by Nature" Walk!

I highly recommend that you watch for and join Kaitlynn's next "Mindful by Nature Walk!"  She brings all five senses into these walks.  I am typically a very visual person... but I am learning to see not only with my eyes... but with my other senses as well.  At first look, this plant (maybe Erika, Rob, or Robyn can tell me what it is?) seemed pretty ordinary... until I touched it!  It was SO INCREDIBLY SOFT and completely EXTRA-ORDINARY!!!

"Cancer SUCCS"... But CF&G Makes It Better!

Thank you to CF&G for gifting all attending cancer survivors at this year's National Cancer Survivors Day with one of the lovely succulents from their propagation! I invite you to share a photo (and comments) with us regarding this (and other) possible gifts of cancer (even though it SUCCS) throughout the year! I'll try to remind you to send me photos from time to time (or just send them when the opportunity presents itself)!

Although succulents are typically slow growing plants... we encourage you to also share any personal growth (of thought, attitude, appreciation, or understanding) that you may experience as well!

If you missed this year's NCSD event... I do have a few extra "Cancer SUCCS" succulents from the gardens to share with you! Just let me know!

Special Gift for both survivors in our house!

"Cancer SUCCS" but good things can grow from it... and I can't wait to see it grow!
