Many of us have enjoyed a wide variety of fun activities at the Christopher Farm & Gardens! After all, why should kids have all the fun? But maybe its time for us to let the kids (and grandkids) in on some of the fun we’ve been having? So, to commemorate “Grandparents Day” on September 12th, we are inviting all survivors along with their kids and grandkids to join us for a GRAND DAY of Family Fun at the Christopher Farm & Gardens!

Innards
I first noticed the large size and beautiful red color of this flower. However, upon closer inspection, the "innards" are what really intrigued me. Wow---nature is absolutely incredible! There is so much going on here. How this flower grows and replicates is complex. It made me think of the human body and specifically the "innards" of cancer. Thank goodness we have scientists and medical professionals who devote their lives to trying to figure out how best to prevent, detect, & treat it!

My daughter, Kobi Grace and I were invited to spend time with Grandma & Grandpa Becker (Cindy & Bruce) at the beautiful Christopher Farm & Gardens. I snapped this photo of Kobi next to one of her favorite vegetables...PEA PODS! (Reminds me of the phrase "Two peas in a pod")
The gardens were beautiful!! We all enjoyed seeing all the garden art, veggies and flowers. Thank you for allowing us to join all of you strong and friendly cancer survivors!

This is the rock I found! It was lots of fun...even in the rain! Thank you for letting me come along to see all the pretty flowers, art work and rocks! I hope you have great results on your cancer treatments, Amy. Thank you for the beautiful rock! You must have been very busy painting all the pretty rocks! Thank you!
