“Great Heights with Delightful Kites” (and Much More) at the Christopher Farm & Gardens – Sundays, September 20th & October 25th!

We have been invited back to the Christopher Farm & Gardens on Sunday, September 20th (as well as Sunday, October 25th) and one of our activities for the day will involve reaching “Great Heights with Delightful Kites!”

Pre-registered guests can bring a kite of their own or contact Tim to pick up a kite kit to build and decorate on your own and be a part of our effort to see how many kites we can get up in the air during each of our “launch times” of 1 to 2P and 4 to 5P!

Participating kite flyers will have keep their distance from one another (not just because of COVD-19... but you don’t want to get your lines tangled) and viewers can enjoy seeing a variety of kites of various sizes, styles, colors and designs as they fill the skies above the Christopher Farm & Gardens!

In addition to this kite-flying opportunity there will be a variety of activities including an OUTDOOR Gentle Yoga for Cancer Survivors, another Stomp Rockets Demo, a chance to DISC-over DISC Golf or you may opt to simply wander this wonderful property!

To register for this event and to select your kite kit (see photos and descriptions below) and schedule a pick-up time, please contact Tim!

Unique Flying Objects in Two Rivers!

I have only modest experience flying kites, so I reached out to Chow Chong of Unique Flying Objects in Two Rivers who offered helpful guidance along with a variety of colorful kites that we will fly alongside these DIY kite kits! To learn more about kite flying including the upcoming “Kites Over Lake Michigan” which is occurring this Labor Day Weekend in Two Rivers, visit www.uniqueflyingobjects.com! This year’s event has been moved to Two Rivers High School due high lake levels and a lack of beach along Nashotah Park! Or, the next time you are in Two Rivers, stop in at the “Coolest Store on the Lakeshore”! I think you’ll be glad you did!
