National Cancer Survivors Day at the Christopher Farm & Gardens!
For the fifth consecutive year area cancer patients and survivors have been welcomed by the Christopher Farm & Gardens to celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day!
This year, about 125 people enjoyed a beautiful day that included:
- A chance to "Wander the Wonderful Gardens"
- Guided Tours of this incredible property by CF&G Staff
- Sharing & Story Time at the Conservatory with comments from survivors, co-survivors, caregivers, and CF&G staff
- A chance to be a kid again with a train ride on the “Dairyland Express”
- Fun Carnival Games at the Conservatory
- A chance to visit the Christopher Transportation Museum - featuring the Christopher Circus Collection with special guest speaker Sonja Barta, granddaughter of Pete Lindemann who was a founding member of the Seils-Sterling Circus from Sheboygan.
- A self-directed Nature Art Project
- Snacks and more!
