ST&BF Survivor-Athletes Rewarded with “Healthful Heating” Class at Relish Kitchen Store!

Photo Above: Participating ST&BF Survivor-Athletes along with Jane Davis-Wood (Relish Owner), Chef Shelly Platten and Kitchen Helpers Betsy Rogers and Robin Callen all enjoyed an evening of good food, lots of fun, good fellowship!

On Monday, February 23rd fourteen of the forty-four members of the 2019 Survive, Thrive & Be Fit Team enjoyed a “Healthful Eating” class at Relish Kitchen Store in Sheboygan!

Survivor-athletes who, throughout 2019, earned five or more ST&BF Activity Points and earned a spot on the ST&BF team, were rewarded with their choice of this Healthful Eating class, a ticket to this weekend’s Unity Music Festival or a commemorative ST&BF apparel.

Relish Kitchen Store who, last October, teamed up with Mainstream Boutique for a “Shop for a Cause” event with proceeds benefitting the Sheboygan County Cancer Care Fund offered a special discount for the evening to help make this opportunity possible!

Just as these Survivor-Athletes enjoyed working hard to earn their spot on the team... they enjoyed working hard to help prepare a Power Breakfast (Rainbow Smoothie Bowls of Strawberry/Cucumber/Coconut and Mango/Carrot/Orange), Lunch (Veggie Loaded Italian Minestrone Soup with Garbanzo Beans and Parmesan), a Dinner Entrée (Baked Sesame Ginger Salmon with Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Cauliflower and Broccoli) and, of course, a Dessert Treat (Dark Chocolate Super Seeds and Nuts Snack Bites).
